COFFO has a tripartite board structure. The number of Qualified Directors consists of not less than nine (9) and not more than twelve (12) directors, comprised of the following: One third (1/3) of the Directors of the Board are elected public officials holding office on the date of selection, or their representatives.  One third (1/3) are Directors of the business community including industry, labor, education, law enforcement, religion, and/or other major groups interested in the community served.  One third (1/3) are representatives of low– income individuals in the community served.  Elections will be conducted in a democratic process to assure that these candidates are representatives of low-income families served.
